Terrorism
Sometimes today we find groups of people who use religion
as a means to obtain a political agenda. Their actions
represent that of their political interests as opposed to the
teachings of their respective religious beliefs. These small
groups are in the minority. In Islam, only self defense is
justified. The prophet Muhammed (SAW) said: If you show
mercy to others than Allah will show mercy to you
Allah says in the Koran:
Surah 16:151 ...Whether open or secret; take not life, which
Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law…
When the message of Islam started to spread the idol
worshippers became aggressive and attacked. The Muslims
were driven from their homes, killed, raped, brutalized,
robbed and humiliated. The wealthy pagans had declared
war on the Muslims and had intentions to wipe them out.
The armies advanced to slaughter the Muslims. The prophet
(SAW) and his poorly equipped followers prepared to defend
themselves. The Muslims set out for battle.
The prophet Muhammed (SAW) said:
Allah says in the Koran:
Surah 4:90 ...if they withdraw from you and refrain from
fighting you, and offer you peace, then Allah gives you no
excuse to fight them

- Do not kill a wounded person, nor pursue a fleeing
person, nor kill a prisoner
